Palimpsest Journal is an international publication which seeks engaging work in all genres of the Humanities, including literary fiction and poetry, film and theatre scripts, creative nonfiction, and all modes of visual art. Librettos and musical scores, text-art, literary theory, original philosophy and translations into English are also featured.

Along with the journal, we host the Palimpsest Festival of the Arts. The Palimpsest Festival of the Arts is a yearly celebration of literature, fine art, and music, held at the University of Colorado at Boulder in conjunction with the release of Palimpsest Journal.

Our submission deadline for the 2012 Palimpsest Journal is September 1st, 2012. The Festival of the Arts will be held in mid-November.
